Add important dates {such as labor day (US) Queens Birthday (UK)} specific to the country the program is sold in , plus phases of the moon etc.

You could accomplish the country specific information by adding information from everywhere then being able to select by country from the options menu, or being able to select all or as many countries as you wished. This would be an interesting feature as it would give you an overview of what's important around the world.
